Itinerary
Day 1: Phnom Penh Tour
Please allow us to meet you at 9:00 am at your hotel or anytime you prefer and then our taxi driver will take you to visit Toul Sleng ( Prison of Khmer Rouge), Choeung Ek (Killing Field) and Phsa Thom Thmey and Independent Monument.
Day 2: Phnom Penh-Siem Reap
Before we go Siem Reap town, we will take you to visit the Royal Palace and Wat Phnom and we will leave from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap at about noon time. It takes about 5 hours to 6 hours from Phnom Penh city to Siem Reap town including stopping for a short lunch break and restroom.
Day 3: Angkor Wat tour
After breakfast, at 8:00 am, our tour guide will pick you up from your hotel and bring you to buy the Angkor 3-day Pass( 62$ for each) before going to explore the most beautiful stone temple of Angkor. Firstly, we will visit the smiling faces of Angkor Thom( Great City), South Gate and then continue to discover other impressive temples of Angkor such as Bayon, Baphuon, King Palace area, Phimean Akas, Terrace of Leper King, and Elephant Terrace. Then we will break for lunch at a restaurant in Angkor Park. After lunch, we will continue to explore Angkor Wat (the largest religious temple in the world that listed in the world wonder list) before the arrival of the crowds. The last destination is sunset at Bakheng Mountain or Pre Rup temple.
Day 4: National Park With Waterfalls
You can enjoy your breakfast before we depart from your hotel at 8:00 am to Kulen National Park. It takes about 1 hour and a half from town to Phnom Kulen and we will bring you to see the huge Buddha statue built in the 16th century, a largest waterfall in Cambodia and a river of a thousand Shiva lings which is considered as holy river for Khmer people. Before we continue to our next destination, we will stop lunch. After lunch we continue to the sandstone temple, Banteay Srei( Citadel of girls) and Tonle Sap Lake and learn how Cambodian fisherman at the Floating Village lives (the stilted houses, floating houses, fish farm and crocodile farm) . If you want us to stop for photos with the local people, do let your tour guide know. We highly recommend that you watch the Cambodian circus. It starts at 8:00 pm and we can book for you in advance
Day 5: Angkor Wat With Sunrise
Please ask your hotel’s staff to pack a takeaway breakfast and we will pick you up at 4:40 am for the sunrise tour at Angkor Wat temple. In order to avoid the crowd, we will start to visit Ta Prom known as ‘’Tomb raider temple” early and continue with other temples like Preah Khan (Father temple), Neak Pean Tasom (Tree’s temple), East Mebon (10th century brick temple) and Pre Rup known as temple royal crematorium. We will eat at a local restaurant in front of the lake names Sras Srang means royal swimming pool. Our third day temple tour will end around 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm as we started early.
